Outsourcing using Fiverr

November 6, 2015 by Rune Ellingsen

Outsourcing using Fiverr is one of the ways to cut down on your workload in order to get more things done faster and for cheaps. Starting from just $5.00!

outsourcing using fiverr intro

In this post, I will discuss the ins and outs of outsourcing with Fiverr.

Outsourcing as a technique for getting tedious work done, or instead of learning a new skillset to operate with… is GOLDEN!

There are many sites out there which work as portals for people wanting to either sell or buy services.

First a little company overview:

Fiverr came online a few years back and quickly became a monster portal for online marketers to utilize.
Outsourcing with Fiverr became a given for many tasks such as:
Link building, writing services, video editing, video making, press release submission, blog comments, editing code, making christmas cards and a video of a singing man in a banana costume among others.

The gigs are plentiful and just as weird as you want ’em OR just as pro as you need ’em.

Outsourcing using Fiverr is a great timesaver and as you may suspect, if you did not already know, the gigs start at only five measly bucks.

Some gigs have extras, like if someone has done a great job and they take only a Fiverr for it and the gig is worth more, the seller may have an option of accepting extra donations for the exceptional work.
Also you have banner design or design in general where often times people who has outsourced that part of their project using Fiverr may get a design which needs a little refining.
In these cases the seller may have the option of extra editing or not. The prices vary from 5 bucks per extra and up to 20 bucks from what I have seen so far.

In these cases you open a dialogue and explain what exactly is “off” from what you were expecting and then you can state what you think would do the trick for you.

Communicating design is a skill of it’s own.

Often times you can get a really good design even though it is perhaps not what you had in mind exactly but it’s so good that you want to keep it. In these cases you simply have to either communicate better when ordering or simply accept that this is a part of the game and just do the best of what you have. You can always order a edit if the seller provides it. Use your own judgement in these cases so you have a good experience.

When you consider outsourcing using Fiverr you also may have concerns about the quality of the gigs.

Some of them are cheap considered to other sites and sometimes this comes with a catch.

On Fiverr however you will get good gigs at a low cost either way.

My experiences with Fiverr has been very good.

You have sellers with RATINGS and this is of course worth noticing before making an order.

Some vendors are new and have no particular rating or some may have poor ratings.

The ratings are given by the buyers who can choose to rate if they are pleased with the co-operation and the result.

There will always be some who are not pleased with the gig even if the vendor did their part. That is just based on customer behaviour.
Like for instance a seller may have 1000 good ratings and say 10 bad. Usually this means the gig is worth it.

Outsourcing with Fiverr is a breeze.
The websites design is easy on the eyes.
The order process is step by step.
The site is secure and will give you a great return on your investement, on average.

Click the image below this text to go to Fiverr.

Outsourcing using fiverr is easy

And the results speak for themselves.
Fiverr started their online portal in 2010 and reaches over 110K U.S. monthly people.

Personally, I have been outsourcing using Fiverr since it’s early beginnings
The site has grown and appear even more serious (which it is and always has been) than before with more elements on the site stating it as a serious online vendor which is here to stay.

Today the site has gotten its own Forum where you can directly be in touch with other people just like you using the platform.

Fiverr Academy: This is a section of the site with sole purpose of helping you sell better by using tracking, marketing and more performance insights.

They also have their own blog where they share more insights from their own view. Newly added a to the site is a store where you can buy items with their logo.

The imagination is what stops you if you want to just do something fun and out of the ordinary for your friends also.
While outsourcing using Fiverr can get you tedious tasks done for cheaps, you may want to look at the other options, just for kicks.

Some of the other gigs offered on Fiverr are:
Pet models, human billboards, dares, stunts, or you can go to Fiverr.com and browse for Extremely Bizarre gigs like:
outsourcing using fiverr for extremely bizarre gigs

Basically you can order services for most things needed for a website owner.

But also have a blast out of the other weird gigs if you wish.

Outsourcing using Fiverr is easy.

How is it to sell on Fiverr?

The selling process is the same, almost.

You can easily write the details of what service you offer and post it onto Fiverr spending less than 10 minutes.

Depends on what you offer and how many extras you add of course but the process is simple and fast.

Anyone thinking about joining Fiverr for selling their services can do so by clicking here:

Yes! I want to do outsourcing using Fiverr

It is reported that some sellers get big paydays because of more than one factor:

Popularity of the gig is a thing.

Your skillset is a thing.

Speed of task, like if you are quick you an have a great turnaround time on gigs and process as many as you want to during the day.

Some gigs can be done by quick labor and some can be semi or fully automated by software.

Most gigs require a skillset none the less, but read on till the end to see how you can make money outsourcing using Fiverr without any particular skill.

And also how you market your gigs is a thing.

While Fiverr has it’s site where people come and order, you can always spread the link to you gig elsewhere for more traffic and more work for you.

Outsourcing with Fiverr should be something you check out before you get tired of doing the same time consuming tasks day in and day out IF you have enough for a cup of coffee…
Then you can skip the coffee, hire a worker and take that short break to rest your entrepreneurial head so it is ready for more productive tasks.

While Fiverr is cheap you can make money there you see. But did you know that there are many sites and clients out there wanting services like Fiverr offer?

You can totally use Fiverr and make a business out of outsourcing using Fiverr a task/gig/project a client you have corresponded with need.

This is where you can make EVEN more while not working so hard. All you need to do is to search for people looking to buy gigs like banner design or other.

Contact client and state what you can offer which is relative to his liking. State a price.

Often the price i.e an offline client, consultant service, plumber or other, looking to buy a banner for their website has a different view on what you offer cost.

You can expect to get a high return on your investement. Prices around $200 dollars are not rare for banners.

Which you can get FOR FIVE DOLLARS when outsourcing using Fiverr.

Best books for entrepreneurs

October 30, 2015 by Rune Ellingsen

Best Books for Entrepreneurs. Some of them are in the category, “must-have”.

Your pc monitor or tablet certainly work as a reading platform, but our eyes read paper material much easier.

Today I will make a list of some of the best books for entrepreneurs which helped shaped me, and also guided me into the entrepreneurial world.

But first, let me elaborate on the subject of why.

Why one should read books on top of all the information which is laid out online:

First off, less clutter.

Better for the eyes.

And also usually more sustainable information. This depends on what you read of course but “stick” with me here.

There are many books to choose from and many authors to follow.

First, let me start off by mentioning the first of the best books for entrepreneurs I remember reading over and over.

The first on the list of the best books for entrepreneurs is called “Think and Grow Rich” and is written by a man named Napoleon Hill.

If this is the first time you hear about his book and you consider yourself an entrepreneur or simply want to start a small business but lack some guidance and/or vision, then this is for you.

This book takes you far back into the depths of your mind where you visualize and suggests ideas ready to be materialized.

It gives you a mental direction with a focus on the task you have set yourself out to do. With this, you will have more focus.

And yes it is a MUST HAVE in your collection.

I cannot write about how much this book meant to me because it really is priceless. I have it in written form and on audio. Been through it several times.

The second of the best books for entrepreneurs is on fire in terms of thinking like a free individual in a fast pace is DRUM ROLL:

“The Four Hour Work Week” by

Tim Ferriss.

This book is very different than most of what you have read in the past, I would assume.

If you are familiar with it then great. If not, you should. This one should be in your collection AND you should follow Tim Ferriss on FB as he posts a lot there about his lifestyle.

And the lifestyle… Is very free. For some controversial. For others, a mind opener/blower or whatever you want to call it. That’s when you can’t put the book down and are getting intrigued by the “off the hook” approach to getting you to enjoy life at low cost, STILL living luxurious and without boundaries and willing and wanting to explore every aspect of life.

Totally another MUST HAVE for your collection.

The third of the best books for entrepreneurs in this post is called

“The Ultimate Sales Letter:  Attract New Customers. Boost Your sales.”

You can find more info on the author Dan Kennedy(!) here: GKIC.com

It’s in the title. Proven Formula for creating an efficient sales letter.

Highly recommended from many big names in the industry. Do check it out.

The fourth of the best books for entrepreneurs is called

“Words that Sell: More than 6000 Entries to Help You Promote Your Products, Services, and Ideas“

Richard Bayan wrote this. His book gets the recommendation from About.com as the No.1 resource for the copy. Visit his site here: Richard Bayan

A powerful book filled with words that evoke special feelings in people.

Some grab you in and hold your attention more than others.

Really one of the books I open a lot.

Number five on the best books for entrepreneurs list book is called

“CA$HVERTISING: How to Use More than 100 Secrets of Ad-Agency Psychology to Make Big Money Selling Anything to Anyone“

Must have!!! Written by “The Direct Response Surgeon: Drew Eric Whitman. Learn more about Drew here: Drew Eric Whitman Official Website

Really one of the best books for entrepreneurs as it contains so many spot-on methods you can leverage in your business.

Love this one for its blunt talk and highly effective writings.

Best Books For Entrepreneurs

Number six on our list of the best books for entrepreneurs book is called

“Buy Now: Creative Marketing that Gets Customers to Respond to You and Your Product“

Man behind this one is no other than Rick Cesari. With help from Ron Lynch. Learn about Rick and his team here: Cesari Direct

Found it to be of interest even though it touches shopping network ads.

It’s about those commercials you see on tv. You know from the shopping channel.

Insights from this book can be used elsewhere in advertising also.

Very good read.

The Seventh of the best books for entrepreneurs book is called

“Rich Dad Poor Dad: What The Rich Teach Their Kids About Money That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not!“.

For those who are new to the game and have not heard of it before… The author is Robert T. Kiyosaki. Get to know him here: Who Is Robert T Kiyosaki?

The story of a kid growing up listening to two fathers. One poor and one rich.

The choices are obvious in some instances, financially, what decision should be made by either one of the two if faced with the same financial dilemma.

Observing this gives you an insight into making smarter choices for yourself.

Book number eight of the best books for entrepreneurs is called

“Predictably Irrational, Revised and Expanded Edition: The Hidden Forces That Shape Our Decisions“

Interesting book from Dan Ariely. Get to know him here: DanAriely.com

…Gets into the mind of consumers. When we go out and buy anything we are in a particular mode.

We can predict this but we as far as I can tell we have trouble letting it go completely.

Still reading this one.

Number 9 out of 10 of the best books for entrepreneurs is called

“The Personal MBA: Master the Art of Business”

Harvard Business school in ONE book. Written by Josh Kaufman. You can visit his site here: JoshKaufman.net

Still reading this one. Impressed over all of the nuggets so far.

Marked so many pages for later reading and writing. Valuable.

The Tenth on the list of best book for entrepreneurs is called

“How to Practice Suggestion and Autosuggestion“

It’s an oldie but goodie.

Using brain power, thoughts… You can set yourself in a different vibration. A different mindset if you will. This book is old but covers the study of what you can call self hypnosis.

Author is the late Emil Coue.

Learn more of him here: Durbon Hypnosis – Coue And Here: Wikipedia – Emil Coue

I like this one a lot.

It was one of the first books I read on the topic.

*Note. The url: www.Emilcoue.com is not relevant.

This list would not be complete ever, without at least adding this;

“Influence“, by Robert Cialdini.

One of THE absolute best books on human buying psychology. You can use only this and get an understanding of what makes people buy. You can use it offline and online.

You can use it offline and online.

Combine this with Cashvertising and words that sell and you have a power house of knowledge. Apply this is every marketing feat you do if you want the powerful edge they bring,

Combine more of the books for more control, but these are the top three.

If you want to learn more see here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Cialdini

These are just some of what I have in my personal collection. I tried to make the list comprehensive and varied.

By reading this best books for entrepreneurs post you have a very good advantage when starting out as an entrepreneur.
They fit each other well. So you’re off to a good start.

Some would say 10 Books for Entrepreneurs is not enough, ever. And I totally agree.
The best books for entrepreneurs are the ones that resonate with you and your desires and make you fired up and makes you take action.
These books do that.
There are more quality books out there but as mentioned, this is an excellent selection for anyone going into entrepreneurship and wanting to have the best start.

If you want to keep on growing then the list should only get bigger.
Take notes of the books in your community. The ones with the highest recommendations from your most trusted peers would do.
That is if you cannot find them on Amazon for yourself… There are always some nuggets hidden from your sight so go elsewhere also.

Be sure to TAKE NOTES WHEN YOU READ instead of skimming through the book for a quick read only to re-read it later and take notes then.
Best way to digest and program the tactics inside these gems would be to take notes actively.

All in all, I want you to enjoy the post.

Read books and grow.

The latest book I read was “ASK”.

About the ASK method.

Google it for more information if you liked this post.

Have something to add? Leave a comment 🙂

Hopefully you have enjoyed this list of the “best” books for entrepreneurs.

Keep Momentum

March 23, 2015 by Rune Ellingsen

Keep Momentum is my personal little story to you, based upon my own experiences.

I used to repeat this to myself out loud, “Keep Momentum!”… Momentum was the driving force that gave me increased energy for reaching my goals fast.

Some time ago, 6 months plus, my motivation for sitting in front of the computer stopped.

Sure it was summer and I love the outdoors and all but when night came I didn’t fire up either the laptop or the pc to get stuff done.

Emails and Facebook got checked on daily basis if i was home. “Sleeping brain symptom” you might wanna call it.

Been ages since I have written any blog posts also.

*For more info about momentum look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Momentum

momentum

So what happened with my momentum?

I had worked a lot of hours since 2009 to be exact and needed a longer break from the usual.

My head was not in focus and needed to clear the clogged up channels within the information center of our body.

During the time away the need for nature was great. So hiking and exploring, travelling and various sports was in tune.

Still… I thought(!) I was working(…) for a while even though all I did was to keep up with the Jones’s of marketing… Reading emails is NOT doing efficient tasks that will propel your business forward. Making stuff to sell, taking action and promoting + scaling is what get real results that are measurable.

Text day in and day out, just input… won’t cut it. That’s what I figured at least. Again.

Earlier before getting traction in the business, I studied heavily how to alter my mind with meditation techniques and such to align myself into a healthier and wealthier mindset.
Momentum was mentioned many times. Alas…

At some point I stopped and it faded.

So the lesson was clear:

My mindset was good.

But it was not “sticky” enough for me to hold.

My old paradigms took over and made me less structured, less business focused and put me on a sort of a vacation basically.

When I started getting back into rhythm, the sufferings of bad conscious was all over me. I felt I had let myself and my fellow marketers down.

I can get kinda emotional about the work when the times are tough. Still I will never let it beat me.

So anyways the ride took me through some emotional moments and I figured out when I was at my desk by the pc again that this could not happen again.

I can take breaks and vacations alright. But I cannot evade from who I am. Who I have become.

The need to check in and do stuff on a regular basis will always be there. Just like when we read a good book. You will always learn more and read another one. And you should!

Join us and many others and give yourself traffic numbers you can measure to succeeed with performance marketing.

Keep momentum and you will grow.

Stop that momentum… Just for a day and you are set back a day or two.

Wait six months and you gotta rethink you whole business.

Perhaps the ultimate would be for anyone to find out their individual limit as to what is their threshold before stress.

We are not equal in every aspect of life… I think we can all suffer from a burnt out mind/body.

Be healthy. Meditate. Grow momentum.

And the ultimate lesson for me was that I could not let the momentum i had built, fade away.
Keep momentum and keep sanity 😉 Oh, and make money!

Stuff to look for in coming posts:

Diving into ADS

Diving into Teespring

Diving into Amazon sites

Top resources for online use plus much more.

Until next time.

I wish you all the best, but remember…

YOU have to keep momentum!

Blog Content Creation Infographic For Newbies

January 25, 2013 by Rune Ellingsen

Blog Content Creation is an artform!

When doing blog content creation there are certain “guidelines” one should follow to increase your readers attention and overall time on your post.

For any blogger, blog content creation is their lifeblood and crucial to the blog’s success in addition to traffic.

The more usable content you provide the more you help your prospect.

Some blogs focus entirely on “longer value bombs”.

Publishing articles like they were paid products and that can be highly beneficial for your long term strategy.

The most shared blog posts are the ones that are over 2000 words.

Keep that in mind.

Take a look here at some of the highly successful blogs that create share-worthy content:

The first one is from Ana Hofmann which runs a highly successful blog focused around traffic.

Number two is from Pat Flynn. Pat shares techniques to earn money with great success.

Both sites write pretty long articles often with a heap of value in every post.

Detailed and easy for the reader to follow.

Trafficgenerationcafe.com – Smartpassiveincome.com

You can model these sites and create your own blog using their techniques and get good feedback from your crowd as they love the detailed content they can just run with and put into action in their own business. It will take some time to create a longer post like 2000 words for a newbie, but if you have the writing skills fresh and love your topic which you write for then it is easily done in a day, even though some posts can take more.

Some less, but for a highly detailed educational blog post one must be willing to set aside a little time for perfection. :=)

You and your readers benefit in the long run.

  • Maybe I will do a detailed write up on the topic in the future. But for now this is just a short introductory post aimed at newbies.

If you read any blog with long posts and lot’s of content then you know the drill…

You have seen it in action.

But if you’re new to it then this infographic below  is for you.

It illustrates some of the important steps for newbies to take when creating readable content for your readers.

Easy Video Suite Launch

January 15, 2013 by Rune Ellingsen

The Easy Video Suite launch is starting today!

Not all of you know what that is so let me explain…

In 2010 a guy called Josh Bartlett made a software called Easy Video Player.

That video player went on to become the industry standard for marketers alike.

Today he is releasing the first glimpse of the follow up project to his baby.

It is now called Easy Video Suite.

Basically this is great product! That is at least what they want us to believe…

Why and what is it?

As the name states it is a Suite of tools for video marketing and it integrates with the Easy Video Player.

It has got the EASE OF USE.

It has got the TRACKING FEATURES

It has got the MARKETERS GOING NUTS!!!

+ MUCH much more…

What I personally  like so far is that you can see a dropout ratio of your video visitor. The software allows you to see exactly in time when the visitor leaves your video.

This is one of the most sought after features to have inside of a video marketing suite for me. If I were to setup a separate page for a video and find this out for myself I would need to do it by including more steps.

The Easy Video Suite puts this under the one roof where you should focus on getting your videos to convert the highest.

It is a BIG launch and there are a lot of people promoting this as the Easy Video Player had only a 2% REFUND RATE.

This means that there is money to be made for the ones that get any kind of sale. That refund rate is unheard of, well almost…

If you would like to see what the fuzz is all about you can go here for some more information.

  • Easy Video Suite

Here are some videos to explain how the software works.

To become an affiliate for this product you need to go to:

http://easyvideosuite.com/partners/

From that page you can see that the cost of the software would be $297 bucks with a $97 dollar upsell. Also there is a continuity program with a single dollar trial which then goes on to be a $37 per month price tag.

Not for everyone perhaps but as you  and your business grow you would like to get the edge in your marketing and this can be a tool with serious upsides for your business.

Video marketing is BIG and it is only going to grow.

By the end of 2013 – Video is prospected to be the number one means of communication allowing old school texted sales letters die in a rut…

They WILL still work but video WILL take over the web and it is only a matter of time before this is the MAIN means of communication for our online correspondence.

Lookout for my next blog post where I will give you more growth material.

🙂

New Years Resolutions For Your Health

January 7, 2013 by Rune Ellingsen

Happy 2013 ALL!

Starting the new year is usually filled with a lot of promises to one self of getting something positive done that you have postponed…

For me it is ALL about goal-setting.

  • I have set a goal of going two whole months without sugar.
  • Be physically active every day for two months.
  • Develop my software ASAP. DOING IT RIGHT NOW.
  • Launch my software – The RIGHT way.
  • Build the business around it.

Also I am following some time management tricks to get the most out of my time.

But first… There is Sugar.

Back in 2010 I had knee surgery and I gained weight as a result of me sitting too much still with my leg and with my work.

Now, I have taken a break from sugar before and I felt awful. Not right away but a couple of days. I was ok but I felt there was something weird going on with my body.

So to break free from the addictive nature of snacks and to get fit again I simply say STOP.

Not all of you know but sugar is actually much more harmful to you than you think.

“I am an internet marketer… Why do you bring this up???”  You might ask.

The answer is simple.

For our brains to function with the fastest, most productive thought pattern… We need to stay in shape.

Our work pattern with sitting in front of a computer slows down our metabolism and is therefore harmful to our thoughts as they are slower than they need to be.

For instance…

Take a long walk or go jogging for an hour before you sit down and work and you will get ideas flowing at high speed through your brain. This increases your productivity and ultimately will make you more money faster.

Did you know that sugar is as addictive as Cocaine? It is true.

People ALL OVER THE WORLD has opened up the channel for addiction a long time ago and are being punished by the companies that thrive in making sugary beverages or snacks for our desperate need.

Sure we don’t become homeless because of it… But we are still slaves to our bodies cravings and lack the control we should have when it comes to walking past the shelves with ANYTHING with sugar.

Try for yourself and go into your local grocery and go shopping for whatever usual items you’d like. Read the nutritional values and put it back if it contains sugar.

As you can see it is everywhere. The worst part is that the makers of these items either don’t know about the effects it may have on your body… Or they do not care.

For a prosperous 2013 I QUIT SUGAR and I work hard in order to evolve myself physically and mentally so that I can be the maximum potential of ME.

I suggest you do the same.

Here is a cool Infographic I found on sugar. Read it. Digest it. Learn from it. Then QUIT SUGAR YOU TOO.

All the best for you in 2013

* Next blog post will be revealing some stuff I know you’ll love. Stay tuned
